I'm Alexis R., the breeder behind A&R Dachshund located in Columbia, SC. Our Dachshund pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Dachshund into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
In 1999 I bought my first mini dachshund her name was Jewels. That's when I feel in love with the breed and decided to start breeding healthy happy puppies. Breeding is not easy it's full of happiness and sadness. I feel so blessed to be able to place my babies in a loving home and to make people so happy to have a puppy to love.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Alexis partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“This price includes AKC Limited or Pet Home(no papers). I do not give breeding rights. I place my puppies in forever home. You a welcome to come have a meet and greet. To meet the puppy and the parents. If that's the puppy for you then I ask for a deposit.”
