I'm the breeder behind Prestige Kennel located in Forest, VA. We are a small in-home breeding program. We are dedicated to keeping our dogs healthy. We prioritize genetics, teeth, coat, and breeding quality dogs. We make sure to breed dogs that are happy, healthy and well-socialized for all of our families. *We do not allow people in our home due to risk of parvovirus and or coccidia. Please understand that. Akc papers do not go to pet homes. Breeders may inquire. Prestige Kennel is the new name of AR Mini Schnauzers.

Hi! I’m Ashley, with Prestige Kennels I grew up beside the show ring of many breeds of dogs. I learned the rules of breeding quality over quantity. Teeth, coat, colors, size, breed standards are very important to me.
What makes Ashley’s program special
My breeding program is very small and all of my dogs are hand picked for all of there qualities. I take pride in my dogs and the puppies we produce. They fill hearts and homes with love.

Getting a puppy from Ashley
Ashley has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,800 - $5,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $300.

Contract and health guarantee
Ashley may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. What's included
Enrichment and socialization
They are raised in our home, we have 2 boys 13 boys and 15 years old, along with older dogs, and a cat. Lots of socializing is a must for a smooth transition into a new home. . I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Socialized in new places, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, We start crate training, Pee pad, Potty training, crate training, also have lots of friends and family who come over to handle the puppies and help out with the puppies daily. I do not take them to public places to expose them to people as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. , Weekly Nail Trims , Pee pad training started at 3 and 1/2 weeks/ puppy play pen and crate training , Interactive Toy Play, Sights, sounds, smells, Noise Desensitization, bathing, Grooming and Nail Care, We shorten nails weekly and groom often to desensitize your puppy in these situations, We use individual daily human interactions for early socialization and stimulation, Touch, pets, and kisses are encouraged during human socialization., Body handling protocol, including sitting still for grooming, grooming , Early socialization, Pee Pad Intro, Noise desensitization, Potty pads,, Human Interactions , Basic manners, Crate Training, "No" Biting or Chewing, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Cats, Socialized with Children, Sound Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Touch Desensitization, Toys, e.g. Ball, Chew, e.g. Bone, Scents, Grooming Desensitization, Various Surfaces , Noises , Noise desensitized , car riding , Outdoors (when Weather permits), Crate Training , Children and other pets, Socializing the dog with everything is the key to a stable dog, And showed lots of love, start of puppy recall with treats, and We do NOT take them out in public, they're not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks, but we do have friends and family who help with "daily playtime"..
Puppy health practices
Each and every puppy will be on a deworming schedule every 2 weeks from birth. They will have dewclaws removed, And tails docked, and age appropriate vaccines. .

We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Toy with Mom's Scent, Puppy Starter Kit, Worming , Puppy package, Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Dew claws removed, Vaccinations, Blanket with Mom's Scent, Blanket with Littermates Scent, Certificate of Health, Food Starter Bag, and Toy with Littermates' Scent.

Why Ashley started breeding
As a child I grew up along side the show ring learning from handlers and breeders of all sorts of breeds. From Great Danes to Whippets, Chinese Cresteds and Borzoi. I learned the right way to breed and train dogs. As an adult my love for Mini Schnauzers has brought breeding back into my life.
