It’s important to us that we continue to improve our program and share our knowledge with our buyer families. We want to better the breed through thorough health testing and selective breeding decisions.

Getting a puppy from Mike and Nancy
Mike and Nancy has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $200.
“The price includes full registration (AKC or CKC), vet check, dew claw removal, nail trimming, deworming, initial vaccinations. $200.”
Contract and health guarantee
Mike and Nancy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Mike and Nancy offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Mike and Nancy directly.
What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies will be socialized with one another and with our other dogs. All will have frequent trips outside to our backyard to play and explore.
Puppy health practices
All puppies will be vet checked and up to date with vaccinations.
Extras
Your puppy may come with extra benefits, like a small bag of food or a toy carrying the scent of their littermates. While Ashton shelties hasn’t shared specifics yet, we encourage you to reach out directly to learn what thoughtful extras they may include to help your puppy transition comfortably into their new home.
Bringing your puppy home
Mike and Nancy offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Athens, GA or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
“Most people pick up puppies directly at our house. Occasional people may arrange a delivery service suitable for animals.”
