I'm the breeder behind Aussiedoodles by Maggie located in Yacolt, WA. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families! We raise our puppies using a some of the protocols from the Puppy Culture program. The thing we love most about this mix is their athletic ability and their intelligence. Our dogs are 75% poodle, 25% Aussie, all from registered parents. We have owned lots of dogs over the years (all of whom have been members of our family until the end, unconditionally). We have found for the busy family, a super smart/eager to please and low shedding dog is a good fit. We would love to hear from you and help you with your puppy search :).

What makes Maggie’s program special
I love my dogs. They are an integral part of my family. If we were not breeding them, nothing would be any different in their care or place in the family. We don't just have dogs so we can breed them. We have puppies because we have healthy, well mannered, loveable dogs and we believe their puppies can similarly bring meaning and fulfillment to the lives of others. Come join our adventure!
Maggie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $300.
“The price includes a health guarantee, limited AKC registration (for standard poodle puppies), first round of vaccinations, deworming and puppy go home bag. Puppy go home bag includes collar, leash, small bag of puppy food, training treats, and blanket with mom and littermates scent.”
Maggie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Maggie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Maggie directly.
We use a little of both the Puppy Culture program and the Badass Breeder curriculum to raise our puppies. They are started on crate training and potty training. They are well adjusted to a home environment where we live on acreage in the rural Pacific Northwest. The puppies will receive lots of attention & socialization from us and our 5 children and our other dogs. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with children, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Early Neurological Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Puppy Culture , Human Interactions , Puppy Manners, and Basic manners.
All puppies are seen by our vet before going home and all common puppy illnesses are addressed, & preventative measures taken. A puppy health record is included in your puppies go home bag, for you to take with you to your next vet appointment. I have been an RN for 10+ years (Emergency & surgical). While dogs aren't people, my experience in healthcare has proved to be a huge advantage in terms of assessing the health status of my puppies and parent dogs, working effectively with our veterinarian and in communicating in easy to understand language with puppy buyers about our puppies health needs and health assessments. I am very thankful for my medical experience and background and hope to share that as I continue on a new journey with my dogs.
We send our puppies home with Toys, Food & treats, Basic obedience & manners, Blanket with Mom's Scent, Toy with Littermates' Scent, and Food Starter Bag.

Why Maggie started breeding
Our dogs are a part of our family. We wanted to be able to share our love for quality companion dogs with others in a responsible way. We love the aussiedoodle as we live in a rural area with cows and chickens. We wanted more of a farm dog with the poodle/doodle coat, and thats how we found our beloved aussiedoodle, Rosie. We also love standard poodles as they have more predictable and reliable traits than doodle puppies do (since they are not a mixed breed) so we also have standard poodle puppies from time to time.

About Tux
Tux is a 3 year old, small standard parti (or “tuxedo”) AKC poodle. He has sired several healthy litters of puppies. This is his 2nd litter with our dam, Rosie. They all have had wonderful personalities. Tux is known to be gentle and easy going. He gets along well with other dogs and is very athletic and active but has a great off switch. He is patient and attentive without being needy. He walks right by your side on a leash and makes great eye contact. He had a difficult first year of life due to an owner who didn’t have time for him, and left him outside in a kennel without meeting his socialization needs, so he can be shy at first. However, once he gets to know you, he warms right up and his personality is heartwarming. He is a very giving and considerate boy. He is my favorite dog I have ever owned.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
