I'm the breeder behind Australian Cattle Dog Company located in Norton, OH. Australian Cattle Dog Company is a local family-run ACD breeder located in Northeast Ohio. Our goal is to provide families with lifetime companions while maintaining strong preservation of what makes the ACD the ultimate canine. We pride ourselves on only raising quality AKC Australian Cattle Dogs and are recognized as a Breeder with H.E.A.R.T through AKC. With 13 years of experience raising strictly Australian Cattle Dogs we have been truly blessed to have been loved by the best ACD's ever produced. Health and temperament are our primary goals.

Getting a puppy from Dominique

Dominique has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $1,800 - $3,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $250.

“Deposits are Non-Refundable but are transferable. Limited AKC registration price is set. Full AKC registration available on an extremely limited basis.”

What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Puppies get daily handling and care, exposure to children and all of the typical household noises, etc. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with Children, Household Desensitization, Noises , Car Training , "No" Biting or Chewing, We start house training, Crate Training, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Sound Stimulation, Grooming Desensitization, Touch Desensitization, Toys, e.g. Ball, and the starting of house breaking.

Puppy health practices

All adults in our breeding program are fully tested for all breed appropriate health screenings, including but not limited to PRA, PLL, PRCD- RCD4 and BAER tested. In addition all puppies are individually Baer tested, fully vaccinated and dewormed on schedule.

We send our puppies home with Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. , Vaccinations, AKC Registration, and Puppy Starter Kit.

Bringing your puppy home

Pick up your puppy in Norton, OH or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Get your puppy dropped off to you

Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
