I'm Laura B., the breeder behind Bays Boston Terriers located in Doña Ana County, NM. I produce pups that have the ability to excel in their chosen field, whether that be showing or as an active companion. I am purposeful in everything that I do regarding my dogs, which includes careful selection of breeding dogs and extensive health testing. My goal is to produce healthy dogs with great temperaments that are exemplary representations of the breed.

Why did you start breeding?
My dogs are excellent representations of the breed, and I am proud to continue their line. I breed to help ensure the future of Boston Terriers and to improve upon my dogs' fantastic traits with each generation.What makes your program special?
When I bring a life into the world, I make sure it gets the best start possible. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, but it starts even earlier than birth. My goal is to choose parents whose genes will bring out the best qualities in each other and produce well-balanced puppies.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
