Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Bert's Doodles located in Jeddo, MI. We are an ethical breeder in Southeast MI, focused on producing healthy, well-adjusted Doodle puppies. We prioritize the genetic health of our parent dogs. Potty training begins at 3 wks of age. Pups are regularly exposed to new stimuli so they are well-prepared for the world around them.

Kathy’s experience

  • About Kathy

I've had dogs since I was a young child and got my beloved Doberman, Heidi, when I was 12 and joined a 4-H Dog Group and trained her to be an excellent obedience dog. In 2011, we adopted a 4-year-old Goldendoodle named Ginger. She sparked the flame for our love of Doodles! She lived with us for 12 years and welcomed Jake and Penny, both Goldendoodles, and Molly, our Labradoodle.

  • What makes Kathy’s program special

We raise the pups in our home and only have 2 litters per year. We raise our litters with ENS and ESI curriculum, handle the pups daily to monitor their health and expose them to multiple exposure activities. Potty training begins at 3 weeks with a potty box, and outside when a little older. Pups introduced to a crate at 5 weeks, and beginning crate training starts around 7 weeks, free trial Trupanion membership.
