I'm the breeder behind Amberfield Sporting Dogs located in Seneca, SC. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. Q. & A. with Beth
Why did you start breeding?
I began exhibiting Boykins in 2009 and bred my first litter in 2020 after many years of watching and planning for what I wanted. I usually only breed when I am trying to get a puppy for myself and to make improvements on the breeding stock that I have.
What makes your program special?
I believe my focus on dogs that are geared towards balanced performance in the field and show ring are important, but the number one driver for me is temperament and train-ability of these puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
