Meet the breeder

I'm Jennifer T., the breeder behind Big Country Cane Corso located in Tennessee. We raise all of our puppies using the Puppy Culture protocol and are engaged with them in our home every single day. I try to be as knowledgable as I can in all areas of the breeding and socializing process. I understand it is my responsibility to give my dogs and puppies a good life.

Q. & A. with Jennifer

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was born into the dog world. My mother raised dogs and studied in genetic information. These studies have stuck with me for life and became a passion after the untimely loss of my mother.
  • What makes your program special?

In our kennel, we breed for health, temperament, and longevity. We are always researching ways to improve. We use the Puppy Culture protocol on all litters in our home.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jennifer

Jennifer has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jennifer partners with them to find the best puppy match.

"We take the responsibility of placing our puppies very seriously. Each buyer is thoroughly screened and approved prior to placement, as we are committed to ensuring the best possible fit for both puppy and family. Puppies are not selected solely by preference or order of deposit. Instead, we carefully evaluate each puppy’s temperament, structure, drive, and overall disposition as they develop—typically between 7–8 weeks of age. From there, we match each puppy to the home that best aligns with their individual personality, energy level, and intended purpose (companion, performance, or working home). Our goal is not just to place a puppy, but to create a successful, lifelong partnership. We know our puppies intimately and use that knowledge to guide placements in a way that sets both the puppy and their new family up for long-term success. By reserving a puppy from us, buyers agree to trust our expertise in the matching process. "
