I'm Darci W., the breeder behind Blue Diamond Welsh corgis located in Los Lunas, NM. We have been raising corgis on our farm in NM for 16 years and are very proud of our dogs. We want you to feel comfortable when you come to us for a family member. When adopting our babies, you become part of our family and have lifelong support. Our priority is the health and wellness of our dogs, but also making sure everyone is happy with their new family member.

Why did you start breeding?
I love Pem and cardi corgis and want to share the breed with others.What makes your program special?
What makes mine special is I have a veterinary background and the health of my corgis are my number one priority. We also have several acres where my dogs are exposed to horses, chickens, pigs and kitties. My corgis are never confined in small cages, they all have great temperaments and get along with everyone and do not know a stranger.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies are black and tan. American Corgi puppies include black and white, black and tan, and blue merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Darci was wonderful to work with. Darci answered all my questions, gave us a really sweet bag full of paperwork, food, treats, toys & a mommy blanket for the transition. We live in Albuquerque & I wasn’t sure exactly where we should meet since we had only been to her area twice so we meet at a local casino. I didn’t know until we met that Darci isn’t just a breeder, she is also a vet tech at the local animal hospital so she knows more than a breeder! We also figured out we have some commonalities between us. Darci texted to check up after to check on the puppy’s progress, which we didn’t expect but are grateful for. We fell in love with Carrie ( now Maggie) a black& tan corgi after we lost our old cocker spaniel. Maggie is 9 weeks old, beautiful, super smart & funny- she seems to have been 98% potty trained by Darci & the mommy dog! I’ll take it! She has more personality & is more vocal with grumbles & awooooos than our very reserved older shih tzu & that is fun🥰 she’s eating like a champ, is very independent, very stable around older dogs. Shes a great dog & fits very well into our tiny retired family. If I ever want to get another corgi I will definitely be calling Darci. Seriously she is a great breeder, you won’t find better

We just love our Rexy Roo! He is healthy, so smart and loving! Lots of energy and antics! Smooth buying process and 💯 Recommend! Don’t go through a backyard breeder, there are a ton of scams cute but unhealthy and ill tempered pups. Can’t wait for another family pup to bring home from Blue Diamond Corgi’s!
