I'm the breeder behind Braveheart Mastiffs located in Cayuga County, NY. I have over 25 years of experience owning, loving, and working with this incredible breed! My passion is poured into every aspect of my program. I strive to produce quality Mastiff pups with a focus on temperament, health, and structure. I am happy to tell you more about what life with a Mastiff is like and how they will not only enhance your daily life, but exceed your expectations!

About Karen
I am a Mastiff exhibitor. My dogs are central to my life, and I love them dearly. I enjoy showing my dogs and spending time with them at home. I am also involved in many breed clubs. It is my goal to help preserve this wonderful breed. While many of my dogs have made exceptional show prospects, all of them have become excellent family dogs and lifelong friends!

I am a premier, experienced, ethical breeder of quality Mastiff puppies. I hold myself to the highest standard when it comes to my dogs and my policies. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and structure, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families!

What's included
Enrichment and socialization
It's essential for young puppies to be socialized with a wide range of stimuli as they grow in order to ensure proper development. During this critical stage of their lives, I introduce my pups to a variety of new experiences for this purpose. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with Adult Dogs, Various People, Human Interactions, Basic Manners, Crate Training, Initial House Training, Various Surfaces, Sound Stimulation, and Household Desensitization.
Puppy health practices
I do everything I can to socialize my puppies. I want them to be easily trainable and have a smooth transition to their new home.

We send our puppies home with Microchip.

Why Karen started breeding
Mastiffs are an incredible breed, and I decided to start my breeding program with occasional, selective litters in order to preserve the wonderful qualities I found in my dogs. They excel both in and out of the show ring. I am dedicated to improving my lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come. It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.
