I'm Dwight & Melody H., the breeder behind Buffalo Valley Breeders located in Buffalo Valley, TN. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

Getting a puppy from Dwight & Melody

Dwight & Melody has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $550 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes AKC registration/paperwork, veterinarian exam, first shots & assurance pups are on a bi-monthly deworming regimen. In the case of being able to provide requested puppies from future litters or in the case of medical hardship."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. We picked up Maxine, previously "Beet" in June from Dwight and Melody. She is absolutely gorgeous after her glow up of maturity! And everything a heeler is supposed to be, intelligent, headstrong and sassy (she is a ginger after all). They were wonderful to work with from beginning to pick up. They kept in contact and gave us updates on our baby frequently. Highly recommend.
