I'm Bethany T., the breeder behind Charmed Shih Tzu located in Harlan, IA. We are a small, in-home breeder of beautiful Shih Tzu. We breed quality Shih Tzu with a focus on temperament. Our puppies make wonderful companions.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I'm a hobby breeder. I love the Shih Tzu breed, and I have always been a bit "obsessed" with pets.

  • What makes your program special?

    I only have a few litters per year, allowing me to spend a lot of time caring for and socializing each and every puppy. I do not do any of my own vaccines or vet care. All of our puppies are vaccinated by our family veterinarian and will be given all age-appropriate vaccines by him while in our care. This helps to provide each puppy with the best possible defense against communicable diseases.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Bethany

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppy price will vary depending on the size of the puppy and color. Deposits are non-refundable, so please be sure you are committed to purchasing a puppy before placing your deposit. *Deposits will be refunded if the puppy becomes unavailable by the seller*.”

Contract & health guarantee

Bethany may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
