I'm Brett B., the breeder behind Dogwood Lane Canine located in Keytesville, MO. At Dogwood Lane, we strive to produce Aussies that are as equally amazing as the ones we've been blessed to live and work beside every day. Our breeding dogs are genetically tested through Pawprint genetics and are selected based on health, loyalty, and a willingness to please. In the short time our puppies are with us, they are raised using Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) & Puppy Culture. We are dedicated to giving our puppies and their new fur-ever families the very best start to set them up to thrive together for years to come!

Working with Brett was an incredible experience from start to finish. From the very first message, she was responsive, communicative, and thoughtful — not just checking boxes, but truly invested in making sure I felt comfortable, informed, and confident throughout the entire process. She answered all my questions (and there were a lot of them!) with patience, honesty, and genuine care. It was clear right away that she wasn’t just a breeder — she was someone who loved her dogs deeply and wanted the absolute best for them and their future families. The level of support Brett provided went far beyond what I expected. She kept me updated with regular photos and videos, shared insights about the litter’s development, and even gave guidance on what to expect during those crucial first days at home. That kind of communication made all the difference — it turned what could have been a stressful process into something joyful and exciting. But what really sets Brett apart is the kind of dogs she raises. My puppy, Richard, is the most amazing little guy — sweet, confident, healthy, smart, and so full of love. I could tell from day one that he came from a nurturing, thoughtful, and enriching environment. He has brought so much happiness into my life already, and I can honestly say he is my best friend in the world. I feel unbelievably lucky to have found him — and Brett. If you're looking for a breeder who is professional, ethical, and deeply caring, I can’t recommend Brett highly enough. Her dedication shines through in every detail, and I’m forever grateful to her for helping me find Richard.

Brett was a joy to work with! Clear and fast with communication. Definitely loves her pups and I appreciate how lovely she was in person as well as online. Our little guy is absolutely wonderful and was definitely made for our family! We always wanted another aussie, and had been through the ringer by others we've tried to work with. Brett was wonderful and thanks to her, now our family is complete! 🥰

Brett was a great communicator throughout the whole process. She sent us video updates while we waited for our adoption day to come. She was not pushy at all and was surprisingly patient. She was understanding with the anxiety of a long distance adoption and offered to fly Rosie to us personally. She quickly responded to any questions we had before and after the adoption. She was also very understanding of silly puppy concerns that we had. Rosie is a typical happy puppy learning to adjust to her home. She was initially a little nervous getting to know new faces, but is getting comfortable very quickly. She does very well with potty training with only a few accidents. She will sit for a treat, and we are working on shake. She responds very well to the command "NO." She quickly learned where the dog treats are stored and runs when she hears us open the cabinet. She loves playing in the baby pool and the sprinkler. She runs around the yard with the other dogs, but always stays close by. She is not fond of the kennel so far, so kennel training is our newest challenge! I think Rosie has been a very easy puppy to work and we enjoy all the cute and exciting things she does throughout the day. We are thrilled with our adoption experience. I would definitely adopt from her again in the future or recommend her to my family or friends who were looking to adopt.
