Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Flangel Dachshunds located in Valdosta, GA. All our dogs are AKC registered, health tested (DNA) & OFA certified. We've been breeding, training and showing dogs since 1985. We are dedicated to raising healthy and balanced puppies according to the breed standard. We love to keep in touch with new owner after the puppies are gone with you!

Lourdes’s experience

  • About Lourdes

We love not only our Dachshunds but all dogs as we are full time dog groomers. We have a mobile grooming business so we are surrounded by dogs 24 hours a day. Our dogs are the babies of the house and we love to be around them all the time. We use premium dog food to keep our dogs healthy in all of their stages.

  • What makes Lourdes’s program special

Dachshunds are addictive, anyone who has owned 1 knows what I mean. The breed was created to hunt dangerous animals (such as badgers) underground. For this reason they are tenacious and determined, with a great personality. The breed has lost a little of its instinct in some bloodlines. We have focused on preserving that original personality. That is why we have imported our stud dog from Ukraine.
