I'm Anita W., the breeder behind Forever Aussies and A Doodle located in Charlestown, IN. We are a forever Aussie family that started over 20 years ago as a mother-daughter team. Our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours! We begin their potty training, crate training, basic commands and new sounds.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our family has been an Aussie family for 20+ years. It was not until our daughter wanted to raise puppies so that we could share our Yona and King Xereres sweet, loyal and gently personalities with others. We fell in love with our puppies and it is so wonderful to make a difference in others lives by bringing puppies and families together.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our parents are health/genetic tested prior to breeding. We do our best to preserve our breed and produce healthy puppies with exceptional temperaments.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Aussiedoodle puppies include toy and mini sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, red, black, black tri, blue merle, red merle, red tri, and blue tri. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, red merle, red, and black. Aussiedoodle puppies include sable, brown and white, blue merle, red merle, black phantom, black and white, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Anita

Anita has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Anita partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $3,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Price includes your puppy, the first round of puppy vaccines, current deworming, a puppy go home bag and starter food. Our program implements ENS & ESI training, puppy culture, puppy pad and litter box potty training and introduction to an open crate and basic commands. Reserving one of our puppies will place him on hold for you until his go home date. The deposit will be deducted from the puppy price. The delivery fee is separate unless there has been a mutual agreement made in writing between breeder and buyer."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
