I'm Jacobi H., the breeder behind Harris Enterprise & Kennels LLC located in Bluefield, VA. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. We fell in love with the breed because of their intelligence and personality. There’s hardly a better feeling than being able to share them with other families that will love them the way that we do!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding at a young age because of our own pack of hunting dogs we keep around the house - trying to perfect the breed, temperaments, drive, 'switch' and companions. While doing so, being able to provide that luxury to other families and individuals. I would like to share that passion and gift.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes our breeding program special is that dogs are only bred when we are looking to keep a pup ourself. We don't have litters every year so it is selective. If a dog does not fit our criteria for any reason it will not get bred.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are liver roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jacobi

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $1,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Jacobi was very responsive, we were a bit concerned because let’s face it everyone has heard the horror stories about being scammed by an out of state breeder but Jacobi was constantly in touch regarding our girl Stella and her paperwork and things. We are in Maine so we used a pet transport service and Jacobi was also in touch with them. Overall our experience was fantastic!! Oh and Stella is brilliant!!! She is smart and funny and serious about her jobs! She is all around a great dog!

    Where to start, Jacobi was transparent through the entire process, making a seamless transition to my new best friend. We talked over a few weeks on what I was looking for in a pup as well as his goals and prospects for halo and shadow. What I didnt know was that his pups get it. After making a 4.5 hour drive down to meet everybody I was beyond excited, this breeder knows this breed, and is a great handler. Jacobi offerer a wealth of knowledge and assured me of a perfect fit. Buck made the 4.5 hour trip home. No crying, no barking, just ready for adventure. This has been the most trainable, fun, loving dog ive ever encountered. I have countless GSP owners commenting on how beautiful and well mannered he is everytime we go out. Thank you Jacobi, for matching me with the perfect pup. From boating, bank fishing, shed hunting, scouting, flushing, fetching, pointing, AND being a sweetheart indoors, this dog absolutely gets it. I cant wait to see where his training takes me on his adventure.

    Jacobi is a lovely breeder and is very cautious of the health of the dogs and puppies he has. He had great communication and always was available to answer questions and help whenever I needed it. He had clear answers to all my questions and even took time from his day to have a phone call meeting with me. Upon taking my puppy to the vet they said he was in great shape and was very healthy. Jacobi does a wonderful job of keeping the puppies living conditions sanitary and safe. Couldn’t have asked to work with a better breeder with the most well kept pups!
