I'm Jessica H., the breeder behind Harrison's Lakeside Labradors LLC located in Cocoa, FL. We produce top-quality Field/American Labrador Retrievers. We take pride in producing the healthiest, happiest, confident pups by assuring they are raised with the family. Our pups receive lots of love and care, plenty of daily exercise and introduction to different animals & people of various ages.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After falling in love with the breed, we did some heavy research. We wanted to do it the right way and get health testing/OFAs and properly plan litters to better the breed but also fully prepare ourselves for every possible outcome. It's been an amazing journey, and we are proud to be responsible Labrador Retriever breeders!

  • What makes your program special?

    We believe dogs are part of the family and should be treated as such. Our dogs are bred and raised in-home with our family, and to assure proper care and love, we have guardian homes where a few of our females live. This also helps for their retirement, as they spend their lives already in their forever home. We visit them so they know us well and then when it's time, they come to us.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Jessica

Jessica has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Jessica partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $9,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Includes a puppy packet, limited AKC reg, birth cert, vet documents, a pre-scented blanket, and microchipping. Full reg is on a case-by-case basis to approved homes only after proper health testing. Non-refundable deposit assures puppy receives a forever home by 8 weeks."

Contract & health guarantee

Jessica may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Full Embark Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
