Q. & A. with Natasha

  • Why did you start breeding?

As a psychiatric nurse with over a decade of experience, I’ve always understood the deep emotional and healing bond between humans and animals. Throughout my life, dogs have been a constant source of comfort, companionship, and emotional support, especially during challenging times. Their love for me has always been unconditional, and my love for them runs just as deep. Breeding began as a natural extension of that bond. I wanted to share the same joy and emotional support I’ve experienced with others. At Healing Pawz LLC, I focus on raising well-socialized, loving puppies that are not only beautiful but also bring peace, healing, and happiness to their new families. Each puppy is raised in a nurturing environment with the same care, intention, and affection I’ve always given my own dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

At Healing Pawz LLC, I believe that bringing a new puppy into your life should be a joyful and deeply connected experience. What sets my program apart is the level of transparency, communication, and lifelong support I offer each family. From the very beginning, puppy parents are invited to be part of the journey. I provide weekly updates with photos, videos, and detailed communication so you can witness your puppy’s growth and development every step of the way. This creates a meaningful bond before your puppy even comes home. But my commitment doesn’t end at pick-up. I offer lifetime support and guidance to ensure a smooth transition and continued well-being for both you and your puppy. I’m dedicated to creating a positive, informed, and heart-centered experience that reflects the true spirit of Healing Pawz.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

We had an amazing experience with Natasha and couldn’t be happier with our sweet Lucy. From the very beginning, communication was excellent — Natasha sent weekly pictures and updates before we brought Lucy home, which made the wait so much easier. Once Lucy was with us, Natasha continued to be available for guidance, especially when Lucy had some early GI/sensitive tummy issues. Her advice was incredibly helpful and reassuring, especially as first-time dog parents. Lucy is now 9 months old, weighs 7 lbs, and truly has the sweetest temperament. One thing I cannot recommend enough is the extra two weeks Natasha keeps her puppies for socialization — it makes a huge difference. Lucy is incredibly friendly with other dogs, adults, and kids. She came home mostly potty trained and already knowing a few tricks like “sit” and “paw,” which blew us away. We did choose to send Lucy to a 10-day doggy boarding school, which helped refine her training, but she already had such a great foundation. We were definitely overwhelmed at first, but Lucy quickly became part of our family and brings us so much joy every day. She barely barks (a huge plus since we live in a condo), has the cutest personality, and is the ultimate sweetheart. She was crate trained for the first couple of months, but let’s be honest… she now sleeps in our bed 😅. Despite being a bit clingy, she’s actually very good about giving us space. Lucy and my 11-year-old daughter (who begged for a dog for years) are basically sisters now — and of course, I ended up being “Mommy” to both. Lucy uses a puppy potty with wee pads (which Natasha recommended), wears clothes, and goes everywhere with us. We constantly get comments about how adorable she is, and more than one friend or family member has joked about keeping her — hands off, she’s ours! She did go through a typical puppy biting phase while teething (those teeth were sharp!), which worried us at the time, but it completely passed — just part of puppyhood. She also had some separation anxiety early on, but she adapts incredibly well. We even left her with a sitter for 8 days and she did great — cried a bit the first hour and then adjusted like a champ, which gave us so much peace of mind. Overall, we are beyond happy with Lucy and the care Natasha gave her before she ever came to us. You can truly tell Natasha has a passion for what she does and genuinely loves her dogs and puppies. We constantly get asked where we got Lucy because people are so impressed by her demeanor and cuteness. 10/10 recommend Natasha to anyone looking for a new pup.

Natasha was a God send, I had been looking for the past two months for a toy poodle. Natasha was very informative, and responsive. She answered any and all questions that I had. I love that she FaceTimed and sent me pictures up until it was pickup day. She handled a last minute with our puppy. I got Autumn when she was 10 weeks old. She is now 11 weeks, & even though it has been only a week and half, my I am completely satisfied. Natasha is someone who you can tell she genuinely loves and takes of her pups. She even helped me with vet appointments and registration for Autumn. Natasha has made to the process and transition of becoming a dog so smooth. If I decide to get another puppy I definitely will be purchasing another one from Natasha.

We had an amazing experience with Natasha as our breeder. From the very beginning, she sent us weekly updates with photos and even met with us over Zoom, which made the whole process feel so personal and reassuring. Picking up our puppy was easy and seamless, and Natasha provided all the documentation and information we needed for Sofia’s first vet appointment. What truly stood out was how available and caring she continued to be even after we brought Sofia home. When I reached out a few days later concerned about how my vet handled Sofia’s vaccine, Natasha immediately texted and called me to talk it through and shared how Sophia had done with her first vaccine along with some tips for the next time. You can genuinely tell that she loves her puppies and cares deeply about where they go. Sofia came home already trained to use pee pads and did great sleeping in her house (crate). I would 1000% recommend Natasha to anyone looking for a breeder who is responsible, communicative, and truly invested in her dogs. We adopted our Maltipoo from her and couldn’t be happier.

What a smooth, pleasant, and memorable experience we had with Natacha getting our amazing baby "Brownie". Natacha is a patient, knowledgeable, and professional person to work with. Since our first video call to meet "Brownie" until the meet and greet day, it was an amazing ride. We are thrilled with joy and happiness with our new puppy. Thank you Natacha. You are the best 🐾🐕🙏

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Natasha. I reached out to her through Good Dog after seeing her impressive profile and looking at her adorable pups. She responded to me within minutes, and after exchanging a few messages about her breeding process, she completely put my mind at ease about working with a breeder and adopting a puppy I would not see until the day we could bring him home. I asked her lots of questions over several weeks while we waited, and she always responded quickly. We were able to FaceTime with her and our puppy, and she sent weekly pictures and videos of him so we could watch him grow, which allowed us to start feeling connected to him. She and her family started socializing him at her house, which is evident in how calm and relaxed he is. The support she gave did not end the day we brought him home. She continues to be just as responsive to the questions I have asked, and she has checked to make sure he is settling in well at his new home. She clearly cares deeply for her dogs and is dedicated to giving them the best start possible. I look forward to a lasting and supportive relationship with her.
