I'm Marilyn P., the breeder behind Kayobi Shibas located in Winthrop, MN. I have been showing and breeding Shibas since 1997. My dogs are health and genetic tested. I breed for friendly outgoing personalities and socialize the puppies with cats and kids as well as common household noises.

"We have pet puppies available $2200-$3000. Creams and long coated Shibas are at the low end. True sesame are at the high end. A deposit we’ll reserve a specific puppy for your family. The deposit will be refunded if the puppy does not pass its initial health exam."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
GM1 Gangliosidosis (GLB1), Shiba Inu Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
