I'm Kiara, the breeder behind Kiara's AKC Chihuahuas of Michigan located in Sterling Heights, MI. I am dedicated to raising exceptional Chihuahua puppies with wonderful temperaments and unique personalities. Our Chihuahuas are more than just pets; they are family, and each puppy is a beloved and cherished part of our lives. When they find new homes, those families become an extension of our own.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Many Chihuahuas are often bred w/out adequate care & attention. Overbreeding, combined w/ a lack of human involvement & affection during their formative weeks, affects their behavior as adults. When Chi’s don’t receive enough socialization early on, it can lead to behaviors like shaking, fearfulness, & excessive barking. These traits contribute to a negative perception of such a loving breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our Chihuahuas are raised in a loving & clean family environment, where we dedicate extensive time to each puppy to enhance their temperament. They R adopted at the ideal age of 10 to 12 weeks, ensuring their safety & well-being. All our puppies are dewormed, vaccinated, thoroughly vet-checked, & microchipped w/ prepaid AKC Reunite microchip, providing their new families w/ complete peace of mind.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black sabled fawn, black sabled silver, blue, blue brindled fawn, and chocolate blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kiara

Kiara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $2,000 non-refundable deposit and between $4,000 - $5,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“vet checks, dewormed,dew claws removed, UTD vaccines, AKC Reunite microchipping w/prepaid registration health guarantee, puppy Kit, blanket & toy AKC limited registration papers NOT breeding rights. Once you have selected a puppy from one of our litters. We do require a 50% deposit to hold the puppy the pet deposit is nonrefundable. And the balance Of that puppy is due the day you take Possession of your new baby.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kiara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
