Meet the breeder

I'm Katie V., the breeder behind LakeHouse Labrador Retriever and West Coast Guardian Cane Corso located in Eugene, OR. We are honored to provide healthy and behavioral trained dogs for families. Our puppies are vet checked and go through early mental stimulation. We start crate and potty training as well as other basic commands. Before the puppies go home, all puppies will come home with a complete aptitude test.

Why did you start breeding?
We decided to start breeding Labradors as we want a solid dog that can perform multiple tasks. In 2023, we started working with Corso and fell in love. We breed for soundness, a good mind, and a willingness to work. We want healthy animals that are bred for a purpose. That can include service work (Labrador), doing dog sports, or being a man's or woman's best friend.
What makes your program special?
All of our puppies are raised in the home. We believe in (ENS) to help our puppies become a better adult dog. They have the best socialization and training they can get from a young age. We work with the best vets to ensure that all of our puppies are solid- hips, elbows eyes, heart-to make sure you get the perfect puppy for you. We have certifications in breeding, training and behavior.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Labrador Retriever puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Katie

Katie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Katie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,800 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Katie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
