Getting a puppy from Maggie

Maggie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices range from $3,500 - $4,000 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

“Health testing & OFA certification, Puppy Culture early neurological stimulation, socialization & training, high quality nutrition, careful consideration of and commitment to breeding lovely little poodle companions. https://www.ofa.org/advanced-search?quicksearch=149854 https://www.ofa.org/advanced-search?quicksearch=149853. Deposits are taken when a commitment is made for a puppy, which may be much earlier than the assignment of a specific puppy. Commitments are usually made when puppies are about 2 weeks old. Assignments are made once personalities begin to emerge and appropriate matches can be made. Puppies are assigned to families based on many criteria including, but not limited to, the needs and personality of the puppy and their potential fit in a particular family and home environment. We put a great deal of thought and care into assigning the right pup to the right home. For this reason, please understand that your deposit should be considered payment for the “getting-to-know-you” and commitment process, does not guarantee a particular puppy and is non-refundable. If you change your mind for any reason, either during this process or after a puppy has been assigned, your deposit will not be refunded. We reserve the right to decline a puppy placement at any time. If WE choose not to place the puppy in your care for any reason after a commitment is made, your deposit will be refunded.”

Contract and health guarantee

Maggie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Maggie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Maggie directly.

Enrichment and socialization

Our dogs are our pets first and foremost. They live with us, go to work with us, travel with us and are a part of our daily family life. Puppies are raised in our home and underfoot, getting used to living in a family before coming to yours. We use Puppy Culture protocols for raising well-adjusted puppies with early neurological stimulation (ENS), socialization, and crate and potty training already begun. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, Various sounds, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Household Desensitization, Puppy Culture , We start crate training, and We start house training.

 â€Ś
Puppy health practices

Our parent dogs meet the Orthopedic Foundation for Animal’s guidelines with DNA health testing for genetic diseases, clear of patellar luxation and passing annual CAER eye examinations. We carefully consider the temperaments of the parents, choosing complementary characteristics.

Extras

We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Vet records, Basic obedience & manners, Registration, Vaccinations, Puppy Starter Kit, and Puppy Culture .

Bringing your puppy home

Maggie offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.

Pick up your puppy in Sharon, CT or nearby

If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

“We do not ship our puppies. We want to meet their new families in person. All new buyers must fly or drive to our location to pick up their new puppy in person. We may meet at a mutually agreed-upon location other than our home. In rare instances we will travel with a puppy to bring her/him home. This option is at an extra fee to the buyer and is at our discretion.”
