I'm Edward H., the breeder behind Lucky Golden Ranch located in Berea, KY. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After owning 2 for years my dream of early retirement was to raise the best and healthiest puppies possible. I love the process from birthing these sweet babies, teaching them potty training starting at 3 week. Here I am doing the best job possible!!

  • What makes your program special?

    We raise our puppies in our living room starting with whelping boxes, around 2-3 weeks we use a large kennel giving room to play. We use ENS starting on day 3 for 14 days it’s basically touching paws, tails, ears, tummies etc. it’s proven puppies that had the ENS are calmer more alert and adjust to noises etc. week 3 we start potty training using pellets and boxes you’d be surprised how fast they learn. We play with them daily and do one on ones

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include dark golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Edward

Edward has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

"We have a puppy pick weekend at 5-6 weeks for those who have placed a deposit. This is a well-known policy which allows people to place deposits prior to the litter birth date. After pick weekend, puppies can be selected first come first serve, until pick day deposits remain transferrable to other puppies of the same gender within the same litter."

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,250 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Our Dam and stud are both OFA certified and health checked. We also do brucellosis testing on both to assure they’re both healthy and without infections because it could harm our puppies. . Deposit holds a puppy, and a pick order slot for puppy pick weekend. Puppy pick weekend is usually at 5-6 weeks old where buyers come to our home to spend an hour with the litter to find their special new friend, and deposits are not refundable. If there are puppies still available at 6 and 7 weeks there will be appointments available on those weekends. 8 weeks is pickup weekend."
