I'm Tamara C., the breeder behind Maison Petit Lion located in El Prado, NM. Welcome to Maison Petit Lion, a small home-based Shih-Tzu breeding program! We are a team of caring, loving, and knowledgeable breeders who deeply care about the well-being and quality of life of all our dogs. We take pride in raising healthy, happy, well-socialized, partially potty trained, small standard Shih-Tzu puppies that make great additions to most families. We provide our pups with a safe, loving, clean, and comfortable living environment. We ensure all our Shih-Tzu receive proper nutrition, plenty of exercise, and timely medical care as we work closely with our veterinarian to maintain the health and well-being of our Shih-Tzu. We are dedicated to producing high-quality Shih-Tzu puppies that are not only healthy and happy but also have excellent temperaments and personalities. We carefully select our breeding pairs based on our criterion which include their health, temperament, and overall quality, and we only breed dogs that meet these standards. We are not a large-scale program and only have a few litters each year, which allows us to provide individual attention and care to each of our Shih-Tzu. Our puppies are raised in our home with lots of love, attention, direction, plenty of re-direction, and socialization, so they are well-adjusted, and ready to join their new families.
