I'm Clove W., the breeder behind Malinois v Cloven Hoof located in Texas. We strive to produce high drive, stable, and social dogs that are conformationally correct. I don’t produce for only one venue. I produce for a well-rounded dog; truly a jack of all trades. Sociability is considered first and foremost when I consider breedings.

About Amalthea
Amalthea was so named for the unicorn that she is. Like the Lady Amalthea she’s named after, Thea charms everyone she meets. She is my one in a million dog. From the moment she was born, I knew she was the one, and she hasn’t disappointed. Amalthea has both brain and brawn, tackling everything I’ve thrown at her as if she had done it her whole life. She is currently in training & competing in PSA, mondioring, conformation, dock diving, barnhunt, disc, agility, rally, and herding. Like her mother, she has sweet and silly heart, both attentive to my needs but still independent and adventurous. She is patient and friendly toward our other dogs and we hope she will one day make an excellent mother.

About Malady
The dog who started it all. Malady and I didn’t have the best start. I was a bit short sighted when I first got her and for the first year of her life it reflected heavily in her training. Despite that, she was my best friend from day one. She will do anything for me. While some dogs use their drive to overcome obstacles, Malady simply does so out of her trust in me and I couldn’t ask for a better partner. She is my ride or die, my companion, my service dog, my heart. Malady has trained and competed in a variety of sports, including but not limited to: agility, weight pull, IPO, Mondioring, PSA, tracking, nosework, conformation, dock diving, barnhunt, rally, obedience, herding, and service work. She is one of the most versatile dogs I’ve ever owned, and I knew she had to be the one to start my program. While she’s not the perfect dog, she is well and close. There was nothing to do but improve on the small things I wanted. Malady is our house dog. She is free roam inside and on our farm, and helps with our livestock. She helps me with nervous and rude dogs that visit. An amazing off switch and a wonderful companion, she’s my number one.
