I'm Jack G., the breeder behind Mama's Pride Poms and Paps located in Benton, AR. Our pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Jack assisted his father in running Poverty Mountain Beagles as a child. While others were playing sports, Jack was assisting his father in the care and whelping of quality pets More than sixty years later, he is still raising pets that would make his father proud

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white and black and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jack

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (NAD), Papillon Type, PRA (PRA1), Papillon Type

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Jack and Anita are incredible. From my initial contact via the app, Jack was very attentive and helpful. It is clear they both love dogs and are knowledgable about the Papillon breed. They accommodated me during the holiday season and allowed me to stay, for what might have been far too long a visit, for my two-year old dog to do a meet and great with the entire pack! I think I made new friends for life by getting to know them. After choosing our sweet boy puppy, they went above and beyond to make the transition smooth and joyful. I can't praise or thank them enough. George is happy, healthy, gorgeous, and pure perfection.

    Jack and Anita were so amazing!!! Unfortunately I got up at 3 AM to drive 14 hours round-trip to pick up Blake a.k.a. Austin!!! They were absolutely incredible despite being so exhausted… He is the most amazing puppy ever I’m looking at buying one of his relatives!!!!

    Anita and Jack were wonderful to work with. They invited us into their home to meet the parents and spend time with the puppies until they were ready to be picked up. They sent me daily updates and photos and videos. The puppies are well adjusted, happy, social and healthy. I highly recommend this breeder if you want to quality dog.

    Jack and Anita were great to work with! They love dogs and people! We are in love with our new baby Papillon. We can’t believe how well trained he was from the first day he came home with us. He knows how to go on a walk, go potty outside, he is crate trained, AND is a good little sleeper at night. Jack and Anita let me come visit 2 weeks before our little Gonzo was ready to go home and I stayed in a puppy haven for 2 hours😁. If you want a great puppy and great service these are your people.

    Jack and Anita were ABSOLUTELY wonderful!!! They send me pictures and videos daily until I was able to I was able to get my sweet girl! They are both so knowledgeable about the breed and 2 of the nicest people I’ve ever dealt with! I can never thank them enough for Willow!!
