I'm Kathleen M., the breeder behind Mirarchi Meadow LLC located in Herndon, PA. Foundation breeding of working Miniature Australian Shepherds. We breed limited litters a year as our females are working mamas on the farm. This allows us to give each litter and individual puppy the love and attention that they deserve.

Why did you start breeding?
I have a flock of sheep the Mini Aussie fits perfectly with endurance and drive to manage moving them and keeping the Ram at bay. I also love their family closeness, ours are part of the family. You can often find us at soccer outings or the local hardware store with one of the dogs along.What makes your program special?
My focus on foundation, drive and an off switch makes this program special. They will sleep on the couch or run, swim all day. They respect home is calm outside is fun.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

About Ollie
Calm, easy to train. Loves meeting new people. Ollie is a dream companion dog. He loves his pack and would do for his boys. He definitely is a cannon dog he prances when he moves and is the fastest runner. He does not chase animals but will work animals when asked his playful nature does not do well in the field so he is not used on sheep and cattle he does much better at agility and fetch games.

Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Australian Shepherd Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Great experience from day one! I couldnt be happier with this pup. There are a lot of unknowns while purchasing from a breeder, especially across the internet and country. Kathleen, her husband and children care deeply for these dogs and it shows. My pup, Helios, is super sweet and loving. He was obviously well socialized. People who meet him are visably moved by how well behaved, lovable and cute he is. I was nervous about training off-leash but the since the breeding pair (also extremely sweet dogs) worked animals on the farm, they kept the pups in line. Helios stuck around me from day one and training off-leash was effortless. Helios is happy and healthy in his new forever home! Thank you Mirarchi Meadow!

It was evident from the moment that I brought my puppy, Bhindi, home that Kat had done a FANTASTIC job creating a solid foundation for Bhindi to thrive! When I received Bhindi, she already knew her name, was practically potty trained, and also socialized to be comfortable around adults, children, and other dogs! As a Physical Therapist, Bhindi is now the mascot of my practice and my patients love coming to see her!
