Meet the breeder

I'm Mckenna P., the breeder behind Mountain Reign Golden Retrievers located in Boise, ID. Our program strives to produce Golden Retrievers who are true to the breed standard in temperament, function, and structure as set forth by the GRCA. Our dogs are healthy, versatile, and both temperamentally and structurally sound. Our dogs are fully health tested to CHIC before they are bred.

Q. & A. with Mckenna

  • Why did you start breeding?

After growing up breeding along side my parents I had the opportunity to raise a golden service dog puppy for a professional program and fell in love! The golden retriever offers a unique mix of the perfect family dog and a driven and confident hunter. Our dogs come from working, sport, and performance backgrounds including hunting, search and rescue, scent detection, agility and dock diving.
  • What makes your program special?

We are putting in the time and research to make sure we are building our program on a reliable and positive foundation. We offer a 24 month health guarantee for our puppies and a lifetime of breeder support including a take back clause, plenty of online support, resources and advice throughout the lifetime of your dog!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
