I'm the breeder behind Mountain Sage Dachshunds located in Malad City, ID. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

Getting a puppy from Tamra
Tamra has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $3,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.

Contract and health guarantee
Tamra may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Tamra offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Tamra directly.
What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies are socialized around other dogs, young and older children, and various sounds of other animals and vehicles. As they grow and explore they are getting use to all of the new and strange things around them. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized in new places, Socialized with children, Surface & tactile stimulation, Car rides, and Various sounds.
Puppy health practices
Certified Good Dog breeders ensure their puppies are healthy and ready for their new homes. Puppies receive the appropriate vaccinations and are dewormed or have a clear fecal exam before they leave. While Mountain Sage Dachshunds hasn’t shared details about their specific health practices yet, we encourage you to reach out to learn more about how they care for their puppies.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Puppy starter kit, Toys, Food & treats, Basic obedience & manners, Vet records, Registration, and Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent.
Bringing your puppy home
Tamra offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
Pick up your puppy in Malad City, ID or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
Get your puppy dropped off to you
Work with a trusted flight nanny or transporter to get your puppy comfortably dropped off at an airport or meeting point close to home.
