I'm Nancy P., the breeder behind Nancy’s Majestic Shih Tzus located in Scottdale, PA. I have a very small breeding program consisting of four females, three that I breed with. I am very selective with buyers. I love my dogs and puppies and love finding the perfect families for them. This is not a puppy mill what is and start to compare to that. I am very much against those types of breeders. My heart breaks just thinking about it. You will find my girls all welcoming you at the door. They love everybody.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for dogs was how it all started. In the many years that I have done this, I have raised Yorkies as well. My Love for the Shih Tzu has been my breed of choice. I love all animals!What makes your program special?
I am particular about the bloodlines and breeding quality puppies. They are all socially raised and love everybody.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver, brindle and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Nancy is an amazing breeder and loves all her fur babies big and small. They have so much room to play and enjoy and she takes great care of them all. She interviews her potential new puppy owners and is not motivatived by the money but by the care her new puppies will get. we are so blessed to have found this site and most of all Nancy. We are so in love with our new baby "Pixie" formally Millie. She is such a great addition and because of Nancy helping to potty train them this has made our training so much easier. We Highly recommend her and once you go to her house you would agree. Our daughter is in the process of adding to her fur baby family with a different breed. We loved getting our shih tzu from Nancy and thank her for working with us. Nancy specializes in this breed and has just a few dogs that are lovingly cared for as pets. Our puppy Cookie with AKC certified shih tzu parents was healthy with a gentle personality. Cookie was taught the name we chose for her before we got her. We appreciated the photo and video updates of Cookie that Nancy sent us when she was still with her mom. Cookie is great with kids and just a wonderful dog.

+6I could write a novel about the wonderful experience I had with Nancy! She made me feel like family and I have a lifelong friend now. We got what I can only describe as a Golden Child puppy from her ... our wonderful Shih Tzu was fully socialized with his littermates, the other 4 litters, and Nancy's (adult) girls. He was fully potty trained and had no transitional issues at all in his forever home with our other 3 grown Shih Tzus. We are truly blessed to have found Nancy and now have a fantastic addition to our Shih Tzu family. Nancy's breeding approach is truly one of a kind and the temperament, personality, and behavior of our little Cujo is certainly testament to that! She is an amazing breeder and human being who is truly amazing. She loves each and every one of her girls and litters and is highly engaged in making sure the puppies go to a great forever home. I would shout out my high recommendation of Nancy's Majestic Shih Tzus from every rooftop I can find!

It was great working with a Nancy! She kept us updated on our puppy's progress and gladly answered any questions we had while we were prepping for him. You can tell she and her husband love and care for their dogs (parents and babies). It made the transition from their home to ours much easier for our pup and us.
