I'm Robin L., the breeder behind Playhouse Puppies located in Lebanon, MO. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    As a teenager I raised puppies with my parents. As a young adult I continued to raise puppies are enjoyed them so much. After my children got a little older, they asked if they could raise puppies also. It is truly a family experience!

  • What makes your program special?

    We do early neurological stimulation on our puppies from 3 days to 15 days old. We also begin potty training and grooming training with our puppies. We do weekly updates with pictures and videos of the puppies to the families once a deposit has been made.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Robin

Robin has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Robin partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape.

"We take great pride in helping our families pick the perfect match for them. Because of this, we do not allow puppy picks until 3 weeks of age. By this time we can begin to see some personalities developing and can share our observations with families. "

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"This price includes AKC registration when applicable. ( in some cases ACA registration) It also includes vet certificate of health, limited one year health guarantee and first shots. We also do Neurological stimulation. This is a nonrefundable deposit to reserve your puppy. This deposit of 500.00 would come off of the total amount due. The remaining amount would be due on or just before pickup of your puppy."

Robin may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Robin has been just awesome! We have been texting messages and she sends me updates on our puppy plus videos of him. I have sent her lots of questions about our puppy and she has been a wealth of information on so many aspects. She is willing to drive our puppy to the airport to meet us and get acquainted. So far I would highly recommend getting a miniature schnauzer puppy from Robin. -Update - Robin met me at the St Louis airport with the puppy so that I could fly back to Minneapolis with him all in one day. She went above and beyond just meeting me with him. She had an entire send off care package for him to give me. It had his paperwork, food, treats, toys, blanket and a carrier I shipped to her prior to bring him home in. She was so friendly and is so knowledgeable about the care of and raising puppies. I would highly recommend getting your puppy from Robin Lewis at Playhouse Puppies!!! Here is our new puppy, Bandit with the bed buddy toy that he loves!
