Loki is a Champion with AKC, so she has been worked with a lot. She is already spayed as for the amount to purchase her. She has all of her OFA's done. She must be the only dog. She is fine on a leash but not off. She is not good with cats but she will tolerate cats while on a leash.

I'm Pam & Tom L., the breeder behind Prairie Shibas located in Trenton, NE. We breed our dogs for the enjoyment and pleasure of producing healthy, happy, and quality (to breed standard), Shiba Inus. Characteristics we choose are confidence, mental soundness, ideal Japanese Shiba Inu conformation, excellent coat quality and color, and sound health.

Why did you start breeding?
We came across our first Shiba in 2005. Maika was unlike any previous breed we had been familiar with. Her characteristics took owning a dog to another level. House training took very little effort. She was very intuitive and did not have any dog odor, only shedding her coat twice a year. We fell in love with the breed and decided to add a Shiba Inu male, Obi Wan Keobi. We felt this was a breed of dog we were willing to share with others.What makes your program special?
The socialization we start from the day they are born, which continues till we hand them over to their new owners, then encourage new owners to keep up the socializing. This make the puppies grow up loving all ages of humans, other dogs, yes even cats. Our puppies love are very smart and love to learn.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, red, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Pam & Tom partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“I like to do FaceTime. I need to learn if they have a good place for the puppy to go out side and not get out of their fenced in area. Buyer can ask more questions while doing FaceTime. I like to know how they are receiving their puppy either having me meet them at the Denver AirPort, half way, or if they are coming here. ”

“All of the puppies are sold with a Limited (Pet / Companion) AKC registration, Micro Chips $38, (Co-Owner $51) We no Shipping but we are willing to meet new owners at Denver International Airport for $300 extra. We are helping our new owner with the information to fly from Denver to McCook, Nebraska, then staying at a B & B overnight then returning to McCook, flying back to Denver to connect to a flight home. All of the puppies are sold with a Limited (Pet / Companion) AKC registration, Micro Chips $30, Shipping is extra but we are will to meet new owners at Denver International Airport for $200 extra.”

Litter update on 16 Jan 2025 •Puppies from Adam and Zoe‘s litters are being crate trained leash trained started on house training puppies are old enough to have rabies shots and they’re up-to-date on all their other shots and deworming which is a benefit from getting a younger puppy, if interested, give us a call. We’d love to do FaceTime to show them off so you can have your pic of the puppy that you want.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
