I'm DaVaughnta C., the breeder behind PrideNJoy Boxers located in Suitland, MD. PrideNJoy Boxers is a family owned breeder committed to the preservation of the true Boxer breed as a guarding, worker and companion. Our boxers are truly our legacy and we only wish to produce healthy boxers that best represent the original rustic standard. My dogs are health tested and naturally reared and raised inside my home.

Why did you start breeding?
I first got into breeding Boxers after purchasing my second Boxer. I connected with a reputable breeder who had been breeding Boxers for over 30 years which intrigued me. Impartiality, I was interested in natural rearing and health testing aspects of the breed; ensuring that we bettering the breed and increasing their years. My dogs are fed a raw diet and administered minimum vaccines.
What makes your program special?
What makes my breeding program special as previously stated is that my dogs are my children. With that said, they are treated as such, ensuring that they (Sire/Dam)are health tested prior to any breeding. They are checked to ensure that no unhealthy defects are passed to down to litter. Also, puppies are reared in my home and are socialized and potty trained prior to heading to their new home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, deworming, and health guarantee contract. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or size. The price depending on type of registration (limited or full) includes AKC registration.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. He embodies the best of the breed standards coming fully health tested parents. He has an excellent temperament: loyal, playful, alert and wonderful w/ children and pets. He is ARVC and DM clear with Championship bloodlines on both sides.

Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Animal Genetics Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
