I'm Sharon W., the breeder behind Pure Heart German shepherds located in La Salle, CO. Our puppies come with health guarantee and are checked by a licensed veterinarian before they go to their forever homes. We have 7 grandkids close by so the puppies are well socialized and loved on. We cherish all of our dogs and puppies, and do everything to provide a good experience.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    5 years ago our pastors at church did a series on victorious living. After that, we bought our first dog from Germany and named her Victoria.

  • What makes your program special?

    I am blessed to have left the corporate world and now do this full time with my husband and grandkids. We spend all day everyday with our beautiful gifts from God our dogs!

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include stock and plush coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and red and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Sharon

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,250 - $2,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Only refunded if there is not a male/female puppy in the chosen litter for you. We do this to ensure puppies are sent home at the appropriate age and not held for parties that are not committed.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
