I'm the breeder behind Ray of Sunshine Spaniels LLC located in Ocala, FL. We have loved cockers and cavaliers for many years, they stole our hearts right from the start. We found ourselves wanting to get more involved in raising well breed, healthy and happy puppies.
Laurie’s experience
About Laurie
We currently have one female and one male cocker spaniel. We also have three female and two male cavaliers. Our dogs have been health tested and have very sweet temperments. They are very healthy, beautiful dogs.
What makes Laurie’s program special
Our adult dogs are AKC or CKC registered. They all have been DNA /health tested through Embark or GenSol. Our puppies will go to their new homes when they are at least 8 weeks old. They will be given a microchip, a Florida health certificate, dewormer, age appropriate vaccinations and a one year health guarantee. They will go home with a bag of puppy food, a blanket and a toy.

Getting a puppy from Laurie
Laurie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices range from $1,400 - $2,900 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“The price depends on the breed of choice and may include AKC or CKC registration papers, 1st set of vaccines, a microchip, Florida Health Certificate, and a one-year health guarantee. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a puppy.”
Contract and health guarantee
Laurie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Laurie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Laurie directly.
What's included
Enrichment and socialization
Our puppies are socialized, and well adjusted to other dogs, people, different sounds and sorroundings. They begin potty training on puppy pads at 4-6 weeks of age. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Daily handling, Car rides, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Scent introduction, Surface & tactile stimulation, Various sounds, Socialization, also have lots of friends and family who come over to handle the puppies and help out with the puppies daily. I do not take them to public places to expose them to people as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. , Touch Desensitization, Noises , Toys, e.g. Ball, Sound Stimulation, Socialized with Adult Dogs, and Pee pad.
Puppy health practices
Our puppies are raised in our home, in a clean healthy environment. They will be dewormed at 2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks of age, and will receive the appropriate puppy vaccines, a microchip and a Florida Health Certificate from our veterinarian before going home with their new families.
Extras
We send our puppies home with Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Initial potty training, Toys, Basic obedience & manners, Vet records, Microchip, Food & treats, Toy with Littermates' Scent, Food Starter Bag, Blanket with Littermates' and Mom's scents, Vaccinations, Microchip, Breed Club Registration, and Certificate of Health.

Pick up your puppy in Ocala, FL or nearby
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.

Laurie’s program includes nine colors
Laurie’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include black and tan, tri-color, ruby, and blenheim. Laurie’s Cocker Spaniel puppies include black and white, black and tan, buff and white, red, and buff. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
