I'm Linda V., the breeder behind Rockhill Dobermans located in Caledonia, MN. Our goal is to continually improve the health & overall soundness of Dobermans while maintained the breed standard. Our Dobermans are bred with love. We are a smaller breeding program However, we are passionate about providing healthy, happy, sound puppies to forever homes. Linda is a Board Member of the Coulee KC, Greater Twin cities DPC and now the Doberman Pinscher Club of America. Also an AKC Breeder of Merit and Bred with H.E.A.R.T., and have verified testing.

Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with the Doberman breed. I truly enjoy puppies, the training, and the ability to mold them into wonderful companions and family members. I enjoy learning and find genetics interesting. I pride myself in being a part of preserving the history and purpose of Dobermans. It is very exciting to be a part of it! I strive to be a quality breeder that puppy owners can depend on for support and knowledge.What makes your program special?
Communication! Too many breeders are not good at communicating. I want to be honest, transparent, hold good intentions, and hold the best health and longevity practices. My goal is to ensure my puppies are in life-long homes and that those homes are prepared and know what to expect in their new family member. Puppy owners are always able to contact me with questions.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and rust and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Linda
Linda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Linda partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
Price
“The price includes Clear Fecal, wormed only as needed and a vet health check prior to homing. Puppies are cropped and docked and are fully healed before going home. The first puppy vaccinations are completed. AKC microchipping is done and registered by me before they go home with myself being 2nd contact. All puppies are the same price. Deposits are not taken until puppies are on the ground and we know we can provide what the approved home wants. (Only refundable in special circumstances.).”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Dominant Black DNA Test, Full Embark Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
