I'm Sandra H., the breeder behind Sandi’s Australian Shepherds located in Michigan City, IN. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. In order to produce the best quality puppies, we breed with a focus on health, temperament, and structure. We are passionate about our dogs, and our love for them shines through in every aspect of our breeding program.

Why did you start breeding?
I love Aussies! We fell in love with the breed when we got our first one. She was so protective of my son who was two at the time. They are so good with kids and they are so playful. I decided to breed because we did not have a good representation of the breed in our area. I want others to discover how wonderful they are!What makes your program special?
The puppies are born in our house not in a barn and we pet them and love on them from the first day! I take them outside for playtime at least four times a day for 1 hour each and then they come in for playtime inside with toys and people.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
