Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Your Shore Acres Chesapeake pup comes with a health guarantee, comprehensive veterinary health exam, first vaccinations, and deworming. Each pup will receive a PUPPY PACK upon pick-up which includes detailed litter and vet records (exam & vaccinations), optional microchip & microchip registration, Limited AKC registration, free pet insurance offer, puppy food & nutritional snacks starter kit, mother/litter scented blanket & toy, helpful Chessie resources, puppy rearing and nutritional information. Genetic health tests are performed on parents to guarantee pups will never be affected by PRA, DM, EIC, and ED. $500 non-refundable deposit (except when chosen gender is not available)."

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Ectodermal Dysplasia, Chesapeake Bay Retriever Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
