I'm Hannah G., the breeder behind Sierra Hills Retrievers located in Coarsegold, CA. When selecting our dogs as new family members, we chose them based on their parent's health, temperament, conformation and looks. Our puppies are bred with the same desired traits in mind and our goal is to bring new families the same joy we had when raising our puppies!

About Baxter
Baxter is a laid back, go anywhere and do anything kind of of guy. He has an amazing hunting pedigree but he is just our everyday family dog. If we were to hunt he would have excelled as he has been a highly trainable dog with such a desire to please. Outdoors he would fetch until collapsing if we would let him, but indoors he is a lazy lap dog.

About Penny
Penny has an excellent all around demeanor! She is incredibly athletic and fast and would have made an excellent hunter based on her focus, trainablility and pedigree. With us, however, she is an all around family dog. She will go all day for any of our outdoor shenanigans but also has a great off switch allowing her to be perfectly content at laying around the house at our feet on lazy days. She averages 55lbs with a lean, muscular build and has ofa certified hips and elbows as well as dna testing.
