I'm Cheryl S., the breeder behind Silver Creek Kennel located in Kernersville, NC. I have owned Cockers, German shepherds and golden retrievers for over 35 years. I am focusing my breeding on quality to provide excellent healthy family companions. Our dogs live in our home with us and are our family first.

Why did you start breeding?
I started with one female as a pet and immediately fell in love with the breed. From there I studied lines and decided if I was going to breed I wanted to do it right, with quality, healthy, excellent disposition parents to produce quality pups. I have talked with other breeders & picked their brains to gain as much knowledge as I could as well as going to local shows to see their dogs in action.What makes your program special?
My dogs are my family first. All of them are raised inside my home and are part of the family. My adults have all of the necessary genetic screening to ensure quality puppies. Our pups are also raised inside the home and given lots of love daily until they leave for their new homes.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Sonny was one of my first Cocker Spaniels that I bought to add to my family. He was the one who inspired me to breed. His loving personality and goofiness keeps us laughing and well entertained. He is very smart and was so easy to train. He loves everybody he meets and gets along great will all of our dogs.
