Why did you start breeding?
At Sisco Haus German Shepherds, our love and admiration of the German Shepherd are the cornerstone and reason for why we do what we do. We do all we can to ensure that they are placed into loving forever homes with a positive, stable environment where they can grow and mature as a part of their new family. Our dogs are our family and are treated accordingly. We are passionate about preparing our puppies to thrive in their forever homes and enjoy mentoring their new families so that they can raise their new, furry companions with confidence and joy.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
