Susan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Susan partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.
“I like to do puppy evaluations at 7 weeks when personality traits start to be more apparent. I watch their behavior & interactions with other puppies, mom & the rest of the pack. I observe their confidence levels & agility levels. Social interaction with humans (adults & children’s). The puppies ability to adapt & reactions to new situations. I wait until evaluations are complete before I advertise puppies. I want our puppies to have forever homes. I like to inquire about what potential puppy parent & family are looking for in a puppy. Understanding what puppies new home & lifestyle would be with potential families. This helps with matching them up. I feel that if you are going to make the lifetime commitment & add a new family member that it’s best to get one that fits in & you enjoy living with. ”

Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

I cannot say enough good things about Susan and S.O. Sweet Chihuahuas. My husband and I were scammed three times from fake puppy advertisements. We ran across Susan on Good Dog and she has been nothing but amazing. The VERY first thing Susan asked was to FaceTime us. With that, we knew we were in good hands.
