I'm Chris and Casey S., the breeder behind South Shore Labradors located in Suffolk County, NY. We breed adorable, loving Labrador Retrievers and Dilute Retrievers. Our dogs are considered members of our family, and we give each dog and puppy all the attention and care that they require to live happy, healthy lives. We love our dogs and our role as breeders, and we strive to make each of our puppies a great contribution to its forever home.

Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with the breed. Our dogs have proven to be incredible, loving companions, and we wanted to share that experience with others by producing healthy, happy puppies. It is so fulfilling.What makes your program special?
We treasure each puppy in our program and give them all the attention and care that we possibly can. We work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Dilute Retriever puppies include silver, charcoal, and champagne. Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

It was great working with Chris and Casey! We are first time puppy owners and a little nervous about getting a puppy at first. Chris and Casey were very knowledgeable about the Labrador breed and answered all questions we had quickly and thoroughly. They sent updated puppy pictures and updated information about our puppy’s vet visit. This made us feel comfortable and confident we were making the right decision purchasing a puppy from them. We could tell they were very responsible breeders. They gave information on the temperament and personalities of the parent dogs which helped us with picking the right puppy for our family. Penny is the best puppy we could have asked for. She is sweet, calm natured and very smart. She has been picking up on training quickly. She is the best puppy and our family couldn’t be happier with her.

We are so extremely happy we got Nash from Chris and Casey! They are so friendly and warm, we visited with Nash when he was 6 weeks old and Chris and Casey were so knowledgeable and helpful with all our questions. The puppies were very well taken care of and happy! I already told Casey that I would definitely be back for our second dog in a few years! Nash is a happy, heathy, playful puppy and we are so glad he’s ours!
