I'm Angela, the breeder behind South Sound Labradors located in Eatonville, WA. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! We are a family of 7 and our dogs are just as much a part of our family as our children. We are a very small program with only a few litters a year. We breed with care, passion and integrity so we’re able to responsibly contribute to growing this amazing breed. We strive to produce pups that have the versatility to thrive in any role needed, from working dogs to confirmation. It’s important to us to raise healthy, sound dogs, and want our pups to be valued and cherished by their new families.

Teeth are coming in, and they have been introduced to mush (softened food and goat milk) Mama Pearl is still keeping them fed well, as they are chunky little babies💛🐾🤍

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Angela and her family were very generous with their time when we asked to come visit the puppies prior to actually picking out our little girl. You could tell they were also very concerned with health of the litter and would not allow visitation until the puppies were 6 weeks old and we had to wash our hands prior to touching any puppy. You could tell the puppies were a part of their family by the way they had set up their house and outdoor area just to make sure the puppies had everything they needed. Angela was also good about putting updated videos of the litter on her Facebook page which we followed constantly. When we picked up our little girl Angela provided us with all the paperwork as well as toys, blanket that had litter smells, puppy food, treats etc. You could tell both she and her husband were sad to see the puppy leave. Overall a very good experience and we would recommend South Sound Labradors to anyone we knew who was looking for a good breeder.
