I'm Dana M., the breeder behind Southwest Mountain Boxers located in Northern Arizona, AZ. Our dogs are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
Ellie was diagnosed with Boxer Cardio Myopathy at 2, she lived to 8. That is when the passion to breed health tested boxer was born.
What makes your program special?
I am constantly researching on what helps the breed to have better health and temperaments. I love on, talk to and handle by pups daily. with my pups daily. I do ESI and ENS training as I think it has a big impact on their health and temperaments. I expose them to a dog door, crate, sound, different textures, and start on potty training. They are also receiving NuVet in their puppy food.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
