About Aimee
I was raised in Northern California and in high school I joined FFA. My senior year I got my first Aussie pup from a friend, cared for and trained him myself. I now have 3 Aussies, 2 are toys. They love to play frisbee and run agility. I love the toy size (travel size and perfect for a lap dog). After moving to South Dakota I was invited to go to a dog show & show my dogs and was hooked.
What makes Aimee’s program special
All my dogs are raised in my home. They are family. I am present at every birth to make sure every puppy has the best start in life. They are handled daily to get used to different smells and sights so they adjust quickly to humans. When they are bigger I take them outside to run, play and explore. At 4 weeks they are introduced to the crate making the transition to their new family easier.
Aimee has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies. You'll also have the chance to share a bit about yourself and what you're looking for in a new companion. Together, you'll choose the puppy that's right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Puppy prices range from $1,500 - $2,500 and include a non-refundable deposit of $500.
“Merles and especially with blue eyes will be more because they are more in demand. Tri’s with brown eyes or bigger pups will be more to the lower end. Any combination of size, sex, color, eye color can affect the price. Breeding rights are $250 in addition to the price of the pup. To hold a puppy or to purchase a puppy I ask for a deposit. The deposit will be deducted from the price of the puppy. Balance is due and funds cleared, before the puppy leaves the premises.”
Aimee may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Aimee offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Aimee directly.
Our puppies are well adjusted to our home environment both inside and outside. They are handled by all my family including my grandkids. They are given bedtime treats and learn to sit to get a treat. If the litter isn’t too big I try to get them leash trained.
All puppies are checked by a veterinarian that they are 100% healthy and will be UTD on all vaccinations and de-worming.
We send our puppies home with Initial potty training, Registration, Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent, Vet records, Toys, and Food & treats.
Aimee offers options to help you easily get your new puppy home.
If you’re nearby, you can visit in person to pick up your pup. If you’re far away, you can travel by car or plane.
We’ll meet at a mutually convenient halfway point to drop off your puppy. Once your application is approved, we’ll coordinate the details for your pick-up day together.
Why Aimee started breeding
After moving to SD & losing my 2nd Aussie, I bought a male. 3 yrs later I bought a female & started my breeding program carefully studying the breed, testing the parents, to produce the best puppies with the most correct conformation, movement, temperament, & intelligence as possible. I have found they don’t have to have a job like the Border Collie. They are such a versatile breed! Love them!
