What's included

Enrichment and socialization

Our puppies are born in our living room. When they are old enough we move them to a room off dining area. This space allows them to follow mom out a doggy door to potty. It is amazing how fast they potty train this way! We spend a lot of time playing, doing hand feeding, taking them for puppy walks on our trails. They are very well adjusted pups. Pups go on play date with a close friend to her house to experience life away from us and their mother. I utilize the following enrichment methods: Various sounds, Car rides, Socialized with other animals, Introduced to people of different ages and appearances, Socialized with other dogs, Daily handling, Scent introduction, Socialized with children, Socialized in new places, Surface & tactile stimulation, Puppy Temperament Evaluation, Intro to water/swimming, Outdoors (when Weather permits), also have lots of friends and family who come over to handle the puppies and help out with the puppies daily. I do not take them to public places to expose them to people as they are not fully vaccinated until 16 weeks. , Outdoors, e.g. rain, car riding , Various Surfaces , Noises , Structures, e.g. Climbing, Early Neurological Stimulation, Household Desensitization, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Adult Dogs, Socialized with Children, Recall training, surface and tactile stimulation, neural stimulation, Dog door, Potty training in good weather., Noise desensitization, Litter Box Trained, Human Interactions , Basic manners, Behavioral shaping , Sit Command, "No" Biting or Chewing, and Potty Training.

More about BARBARA

  • Why BARBARA started breeding

I watched my Aunt train and show her dogs while I was growing up as a young girl. I had high hopes and expectations for my first GSD. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way with my first gsd having many health issues including severe hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia and pannus. She was spayed and I set out to find the perfect bitch to start my dream. So my first import bitch was Foxi vom Fichtenschlag, imported from Germany.
