Why did you start breeding?
Two years into my marriage, my husband surprised me and brought home a chocolate lab named Ricochet for my Valentine's gift. Ricochet was our foundation girl that sparked our journey in breeding with an after hour emergency c section with 15 puppies! Later we added Ultra, Sass, Finn, Brew and our amazing stud Bud to our program of Still Pond Retrievers.What makes your program special?
We are a small and responsible program allowing us to give all our puppies and dogs the attention they need. We look to provide our puppies with a great start so they can continue onto a successful and happy future with their furever families.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
