I'm Jill M., the breeder behind Sunset Hill Mini & Toy Aussies located in Arcanum, OH. ALL our dogs live in our home as pets ❤️awarded with Canine Good Citizen for great temperaments, sleep in our living room, play outside on our farm, and spend every day with our kiddos. We are passionate about raising family-friendly dogs who love everyone. All our dogs are genetically tested.
Q. & A. with Jill
Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to provide our community with a family raised option for pure breeds. When we were looking to get some registered Aussies we were shocked at some other breeder's practices. So we started our own breeding, with our kiddos, in our home, treating them as part of the family!
What makes your program special?
We have a large adoptive family of kids with special needs. Our kids help with caring for the dogs and puppies daily. Our fur babies are so well socialized with all kinds of people!! This makes them ready to join any family and be a strong companion to any person regardless of needs or abilities.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include tiny and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Miniature American Shepherd puppies include black tri, red tri-color, red merle, and blue merle. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, red merle, red, and black. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include red, black, blue merle, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
